Year : 1943 Built at Rearsby, Leicestershire, LB375 was the 89th aircraft produced from an initial batch of 100 Auster Mk.Is for the Royal Air Force. It was initially assigned to 653 Air Observation Post (AOP) Squadron at Penkhurst, Kent, in December 1942. Formed that June, 653 AOP Sqn had flown de Havilland Tiger Moths as an interim measure prior to receiving Austers. LB375 was transferred to No. 43 Operational Training Unit at RAF Larkhill, Wiltshire, in March 1943 for use in the tuition of army co-operation air observers. With the introduction of improved Auster variants, the aircraft was allocated to 451 Squadron Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) for light liaison duties in March 1945. Equipped with Supermarine Spitfire XVIs, 451 Sqn was based at RAF Matlaske, Norfolk when issued LB375. From August 1945, the unit received Spitfire F.14s in anticipation of deploying to Germany on September 14, 1945. Initially stationed at Fassberg, 45 miles south of Hamburg, 451 Sqn moved to Wunstorf, 14 miles northwest of Hanover, on 27th of that month. The squadron flew from RAF Gatow, west of Berlin, between November 28 and December 30, 1945 before being disbanded at Wunstorf on January 21, 1946. LB375 was demobbed in March of that year and allocated the civilian registration G- AHGW. The aircraft was returned to Rearsby, where it was civilianised before being sold to London Aeroplane Club at PanshangerAerodrome, Hertfordshire, in 1946. The following year, it was acquired by Short Brothers and Harland Ltd and based at Rochester, Kent. G-AHGW then passed through a number of private owners before being purchased in 1975 by Carl Butler. Having repainted the aircraft in its RAF colours, Butler would later fly it as part of the Military Auster Flight alongside Mk.V G-AJGJ/RT486, AOP.6 G-BNGE/TW536, T.7 G- ASAJ/WE569 and AOP.9 G-BKVK/WZ662 The aircraft was stored in 1996, being acquired with another Auster I, G- AHSD/LB323, by Brent Owen in 2016. LB375 is currently owned by Simon Tilling the CEO of the Light Aircraft Association and has been flown in by Emma Taylor who recently converted to the type LB375 is understood to have had one of the longest in-service flying careers of any World War Two Auster. Factory Built Carbon Fibre Sky Arrow with 830 Hours, Rotax 912 (300 Hours) This all-carbon-fibre example offers a distinctive combination of superb visibility, comfortable two-seat touring and engaging, easy-going handling. It has been carefully kept hangared throughout its ownership and has just received a fresh ARC in September 2026. The Sky Arrow’s signature feature is its expansive canopy and low cockpit sides, giving both occupants an exceptional all-round view. The elevated rear seat means passengers enjoy an excellent outlook too, while the cockpit layout feels purposeful and intuitive. Both seats are fitted with proper five-point harnesses. The aircraft has dual controls, side sticks, electric trim on the right and throttle on the left - an arrangement with a distinctly fighter-like feel, albeit at a rather more sociable pace and with room for a passenger. Adjustable rudder pedals and a stable, relaxed feel in flight make G-SKYT a comfortable machine to spend time in. The owners describe it as a “gentleman’s flying carriage” - an apt description for an aircraft that makes local flying and touring feel effortless. Airframe time: 830 hours Totax 911 300 Hours New Arc Issues September 2026 The engine was replaced on calendar time, reflecting the operating limitations that applied at the time. The aircraft’s all-carbon-fibre construction distinguishes it from examples fitted with aluminium wings. G-SKYT is based at Defford / Croft Farm, north of Cheltenham, where it is hangared and operated from a grass strip. Covers are included, and there may be an opportunity for the buyer to continue with the existing hangarage arrangement. An Enthusiast-Owned Aircraft. After two decades of ownership, G-SKYT is being offered with genuine reluctance. It is an unusual and characterful aircraft, carefully kept and clearly enjoyed - an appealing choice for a buyer seeking excellent visibility, relaxed handling and something a little different from the usual two-seat touring fleet.

1957 De Havilland Thruxton Jackaroo – G-AOEX -One of only 5 still flying – A rare opportunity to own a unique piece of British aviation history FOR SALE: 1957 De Havilland Thruxton Jackaroo – G-AOEX One of only 5 still flying – A rare opportunity to own a unique piece of British aviation history Hi, I’m looking for a new home for my late father’s beloved aircraft. This is G-AOEX, the prototype Series 1 Thruxton Jackaroo — a rare four-seat cabin biplane (modified DH82A Tiger moth), beautifully restored and in full working order, with a Permit to Fly through the LAA until January 2026?. It’s painted in its original Wiltshire School of Flying colours, just as it was when it first flew in 1957. My dad, Arthur Christian, originally learned to fly in this very aircraft. He bought it in 1985, stored it for many years, and eventually completed a full restoration in December 2022. Since my father passed away, the aircraft has been in storage. I don’t fly myself, and it’s become clear that this aircraft deserves more than I can give it. It’s such a shame for it to be sitting in a hangar gathering dust, when it really deserves to be in the air and appreciated. We’re open to sensible offers. More than anything, I want to find the right person or group who will give it the care and use it deserves. If we can’t find a new home soon, I may need to consider other, less ideal options — and I’d much rather see it flying. If you’re interested — or know someone who might be — please get in touch.

G-TAPS, is a superbly equipped and beautifully presented Piper PA-28RT-201 Arrow IV that has been our family tourer for the past two years. The wonderful paint-job is regularly commented on. For sale, G-TAPS, is a superbly equipped and beautifully presented Piper PA-28RT-201 Arrow IV that has been our family tourer for the past two years. The wonderful paint-job is regularly commented on. We’ve travelled extensively across the UK, the Channel Islands, throughout France and as far south as the Alps – comfortably touring 4-up with bags. Fully equipped for IFR with digital engine monitor, this aircraft took me through my IR(R) exam the day after purchase, and it has proven itself a capable and confidence-inspiring platform. The autopilot takes the work-load off, although it flies so easily by hand anyway. Autopilot is able to fly GPS routes point to point and coupled approaches. The Turbo is essential for those longer journeys, enabling you to effortlessly climb into the flight levels or above the Alps. It also increases the useful load and performance. Management is made easy by the Garmin engine monitor that will in addition to CHT/EGTs also show you accurately how much is left in the tanks and how much fuel you’re burning. It’s exceptionally good at short-field too despite what you might read. 600M grass trips at MTOW are no problem (see youtube channel @ghoflyer with lots of under-wing footage from this aircraft). I’ve been into 500m strips with no trouble but I wouldn’t suggest any shorter. If you’re used to Warriors, Archers and Cessna’s, the first thing you’ll comment on is how smooth the engine is. A 6-cylinder with 3-bladed prop is a match made in heaven. Fellow pilots have exclaimed it’s as smooth as being on a flying carpet and I can’t disagree. Hours Airframe: 4151 Engine: 1019 SMOH (TBO is 1800 hours so plenty of hours left) Propeller: 356
